I want a short review from the people who played the Alpha. Like if you guys were able to do any quest and were they fun? How important was choosing the skills to go into the arena for some PvP. How cool did the armor and weapons look?
That's prolly it thanks in advance for all who share their experience.

Finished all the alpha quests (except the last one they opened the last day with the gryphons)
Charmed a lynx
Was warrior/ranger
Walked all the open areas.
Did alot of the solo quest
Armour and weapons looked spectacular
Arrows worked well best of any game i've seen
Spell effects rule too
Skills very important whe you have alot and structure your fighting style a specific way.
Didn't play much PVP which was a shame.
Rate this game for a no-monthly fee game 9.5/10 from what i've seen in the alpha.
When it comes out it's a must have for any RPG lover.
For a game that was still in Alpha, this had very little bugs. The gameplay was great. Graphics were great. There was no level grind .
I played a Necro Warrior. I would steal enemy health and fight like hell. Unstoppable was what my friends called it.
This was an amazing game and I look foward to beta testing and buying Guild Wars.

Heh. Anybody remember prince Rurik, The Homicidal Maniac? That guy was nuts. When he was in-town, all of a sudden, on the last day, handing out an assignment to go to the North, I knew that'd be a crazy mission.
The quests were cool, and for the Solo quests (Get the Carapaces, or get the Stones, or get the Armor), if you knew where to find the creatures, you could easily complete the quest. It took me a while with the Carapaces, though. But I was one of the few walking around with the Crimson Devourer Carapace Shield. A real beauty
The missions/quests that you could do cooperatively were very fun and challenging. It says something that since E3, I've been languishing, not really finding something nearly so fun or entertaining as GW.
PvP was fun, though the offensive team usually started losing players if the first offensive assault failed, which generally lessened the chances of their getting in. The ability to request more players in-mission, to replace those lost, might be a good idea. (Also a good idea for the Co-op play, where losing just one player could sometimes be fatal. That's how challenging some of the missions could be.)
