I know DDO is all about dugeon questing - I bought the game when it came out and played for quite a while until I quit. However, I really enjoy running around in a wilderness environment, exploring and discovering. Is there any persistant wilderness adventuring in DDO yet, or is it still a main hub persistant city and instanced dungeons only? If there is persistant wilderness, that'd be enough to bring me back.
Thanks in advance.
I make spreadsheets at work - I don't want to make them for the games I play.

Probably not in the sense you mean, because of the term "persistent". There are, however, over a dozen "Adventure Areas"...which are huge, wide open spaces to explore, monsters to kill throughout, unique bosses on random spawns, and landmarks to discover for explorer experience.

That still sounds like it might be fun. I think I'll give DDO another shot. Thanks!

I think he means non instance zones.
Which is why I said they weren't "persistent" like he was suggesting or asking about. Hopefully he got it though...either way, 10 free days to find out LOL!
