Starting Vanguard

Hello all!

I just bought Vanguard today and am in hte process of downloading it (Soo... Bigggg).  I'm really excited and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a server and/or wouldn't mind meeting up with a noob and helping him out a bit!

Hopefully I'll see you in-game :D

PM me and let me know when you play, and I'll help you out. I have alts on each server, but I mainly play on Sartok (pvp server). So, if you want help with gear join that one, otherwise I'll play a lowbie with you on another.

You plan on playing on a PvE or PvP server?

    HI

Sorry to jump in here but i was wondering if i could have your buddy key?   Been looking around for a while now with no joy.  I would very much like to try VSOH out as it looks like my kind of game.  If you need a some company while getting started i'll even be glad to quest around with you as a thank you for the key.

email to stephen.georgiou@gmail.com or pm me on the forum if it's ok.

    Thanks

    Stephen

I am also starting Vanguard either today or tomorrow (depends when it is done patching...), for the first time since Beta. Hoping it is a lot better now ;).

elf8bliss: Is your server well populated? How is the economy?

See you guys in game hopefully ;)

If you choose Seradon (which I believe is the most populated... too much so in my opinion), feel free to look me up if you want chat as you are figuring things out in the game.

Seradon and Xeth have the highest populations.  Economy is the economy, not so different here than many other mmo's.  You won't be able to afford anything on the market until you start getting a few drops (blue or better generally for decent market value) on your own adventures to sell.  Harvesters and crafters make the most gold consistently, though more at higher levels.

There are alot of armor quests in the beginning to help gear you out though.  You don't really need to hit the market for goods until you are in the early teens in my opinion.  Pretty easy to get to 10 regardless of the gear you have.
