Just wondering how free will i be to move inside a normall zone ?
Will it be more like old fashioned RPG zones where ostacles prevent me from moving stright at my target ..Or will i be able to roam these zones as i want, going everywhere in reach without being obstructed by hills i can't clim or wooden walls.

For the most part*, there is almost complete freedom within a zone. With the exception of zone boundaries, if it's reachable by human means, it's reachable ingame. For instance, all characters can climb up and over obstacles, although skill training is required for the most difficult scaling.
* NOTE: Portions of the islands of Tortage, AKA NOOB ISLE, are restricted in a similar fashion to Guild Wars. This is for the sake of game control training. Thus far, this is the only exception we are aware of.
No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

Lobotomist is referring to the generally released footage from Tortage Isles, which dominate the available previews, as already mentioned, it is an exception, not the rule. If he were to look in the right place for once, he should be singing a different tune.
EDIT: Oh sure, just delete the post on me.

Lotro kind of has that too tbh, misty mountains and angmar travel are like a how many times knocked off your horse game.especially those sodding archers

Exactly
If you played LOTRO you know how tedious and plain boring it is. Turbine at least admitted they did it to hide lack of content, and they are fixing it....
Actually I have just a quick something to add if your interested. When I was touring around Funcom offices we saw one of the World Builder designers who was making Tortage Beach wider and longer. Increasing the width of the area outside the city, as feedback said it was a bit narrow.
The aim originally was to help people to the city gates because of how dense the jungle is, and the onus was more on learning how to move and control your character in the early stages.
But just wanted to say they are tweaking Tortage and also have plans to add in a few more starting area's a short time after launch
Wasnt it in Q&A #1 where Gaute said that people missed the traveling from 1-20. I think thats why they make Tortage bigger. Rumor is, that people complained about the quests from 1-20 within a rather small area. I think Funcom is doing the right thing expanding Tortage.
How was the trip btw!! I hope everything went well! I was at the website the other day trolling around:) Have to say I am impressed on how it looks atm. Great job.
Thanks for the input everyone...
I must have heared the wrong rumors... I am happy with this.
