    No, you can play HGL with out a monthly fee, can play online, can form partys, can join guilds, can even access elite mode.

     

    However, if you pay 9.99 you get all of the above, plus the ability to

    Make a guild

    Play hardcore mode(your character dies, you cant play it anymore)

    Additional inventory space (2x storage)

    Access to expansion areas like stonehenge.

    i need thank you to,i am go and buy now and kill some elite people if i cant (on same lvl)  i am neve rplay again (maybe .P )
