R.I.P runescape

in Runescape

As i look at runescape, i'm ashamed for holding a scythe. I'm sure many of you played way back in classic. Not the best graphics, but definitely  better game then now (imo).

 

The memories of the good times back then will never leave me (sad isn't it?). Pking was absolute FUN in classic. Waiting 3 turns before you could leave was epic. No waiting to swing your sword with a 2h. I personally enjoyed getting 100 fatigue then making low level mages and duking it out. I could play for hours and never get bored. Or watching pure monks hitting 30s and sometimes 31s in awe.

Runescape 2 comes, everyone has a chance to transfer their stuff and go. Half do, i don't. Pking is a little less, but still hours of fun. Eventually, thanks to the botters, classic is shut down. Everyone is stuck on new rs. It sucked so badly, i quit. Months and years later, a horrible update in November. No more pking. No more trading. No more merchanting. RS is ruined. A once wonderful game is ruined. I hope one day jagex will fix this mess, but he probably never will.

    Were you there back in the DAYS? Back when there was open PVP everywhere (even in cities), when there were only 3 worlds online, with a total capacity of 3000 people? Back when there weren't any members, when there wasn't a need for Wilderness, when where was nothing higher than adamntium? Now THOSE were the days.

    i wasent ther in classic runescape but some of my friends were and now they r all quiting because they say it sucks now

    Yes the game has pretty much died. Its a crying shame I just can't stop the gushing. If they made a sequel with better graphics and no comercials they might be able to breathe some life back into the game.

    I hope that someone takes the good things from old runescape and makes a new game with player freedoms and customer service. .... a decent company and have abosolutly nothing to do with Jagex.

    yup, i agree about how they ruin RS. But im not sure about the fact how is rs better than rs2. Maybe i wasn't plying Rs at the time. Bounty pretty much killed everything and the merchant system. Should send a complain to Jagex for doing that rule

    Complaining to jagex just results in a mute, they would rather delete your posts than give customer service.

    They even removed the option to send in supports...
