List of popular MMOs with descriptions

There was a post recently where someone was asking for help choosing a new mmo, and someone had provided a link to another post that contained a very comprehensive list of games, complete with description and even a breakdown of which game provided end-game raids, pvp based on point systems, world pvp, FFA, etc. Does anyone have that link, or know the post I mean? Its not stickied and I'm having trouble finding it in the search. Thanks for any help.

    I think CoV is a LOT better than what he descibes, but that is prolly the list you want.

    Cool, thanks for the help! I just found it, too. I had forgotten I was browsing the LFGame thread.  I'm definitely going to check out CoH/CoV, and Eve. I found another post about Eve that makes it sound like it has incredible depth.  But I love the lore of Final Fantasy, so I want to try to get back into FFXI, too.

    City of Heroes/Villains has 2 raid encounters, but there are NO exclusive rewards to raiding, you do it for badges, for honor, for some cool rewards, but peoples can earn the same rewards by soloing or grouping if they prefer.  The raid ambiance is extremely positive, as nobody cares about the loot (everything loot-oriented is autamated, so you get it without asking for it), and if they are there, they want to see the raid succeed.  Quality over quantity.  Someone want the phat loot but is in a poor piss mode, he just go solo/groups and everyone is happier!

     

    There are 4 PvP zones + arenas fight + base raids...honestly the devs care about the PvP, the player base mostly ignore it except folks on official forums.  Each PvP zone is different and has different rules, most are faction-oriented...Most peoples who PvP do it because they want it, except for a few shivans/nukes gatherers which nice PvPers leave alone.
