Mmo's that run/look good on "older" pc's
I'm looking for games with good graphics that still run good on (2004-2006) PC's like mine
I have a 1.8ghz AMD sempron and a Radeon X700 pro.
A good example is WoW, I can tweak the settings to where the graphics look OK and the game runs smooth.
Another example is EVE online, runs pretty good with around 60-90 fps without tweaking anything.
Some games that run terrible on my PC are EQ2, no matter what I did to tweak the settings I just couldn't get it to run satisfactory, either I have to turn the graphics down to crappy for my taste or I have to live with <20 fps.
LOTRO, same deal, looks good with regular settings but doesn't run good like that.
DDO, same deal, soon as I turn the graphics up to a level I like the game doesn't run that well.
Lots of the newer games are like that, I have to set the graphics all the way down and then they start looking like shit, don't look anywhere near what I can get with WoW on medium settings.

emm final fantasy 11, everquest 1 , city of heroes/villans , Dark age of camelot, lineage 2, Matrix online,
Guild Wars I suppose runs pretty good, my old computer could run it at highest settings without any problems.
If you are looking purely at Aesthetic Value, you can play every asian mmo which imo always look better then other mmos.
