I am sorry if I upset some people ,but for me it doesnt really matter if half the world see her nipples and I cant,For me as long as the game plays well then I am happy,Maybe you guys think you should have the choice,ok fair enough,but I really dont see the problem in it,it is just a game and will follow the same path,naked or not.

If we were to do that then should we change the Boris Vallejo paintings? Because quite frankly they capture the conan style perfectly.
Conan embodies the whole gritty, perhaps immature, testosterone laden, pulp fiction style. There is a reason that it is popular. Whether or not one can accept that it is embedded in a somewhat grittier world is another thing. Regardless of how one approaches the material, it should be allowed to "be" there. The material should be respected. If it seems that there are too many "sex crazed" seemingly immature little boys obsessed with it, well, quite frankly I would think that Mr. Howard would approve. It connects to a place that few people are comfortable being in, especially if they tout higher ideals and perhaps a higher morality. But that place does exist. I have no problem being there if only for a little while.
If others don't I completely respect that.
On the other end of the spectrum, there was an episode of "House" on the other night. There was a man who was Orthodox jewish and he felt uncomfortable seeing his wife in an undressed state. when someone couldn't understand his distress, he came back with the idea that though one might think his ideas and beliefs "quaint" but they were very important to him and showed that he had the utmost respect for his wife.
I imagine there are many on this forum and elsewhere who would be beside themselves in laughter at such a notion. but the truth is that such beliefs are out there and are very valid. Especially in a world that tends to slide to the "easy" and lowest common denominator.
So you see, there are all sides to life. Just because one only wants to be on a particular side doesn't mean the other side should be seen as lesser. Its not about the nipples you narrow minded fool. Its about the censorship of which this world is turning towards for everything. Censorship that clouds our thoughts, minds and hearts. Age limitations are a good idea but if the game is rated mature yet can not show nudity then this is a premium example of how weak minded and immature this world is becoming. If you can not show a natural body in its purest form when this world has taken a turn for the worse. Well, in regards to your post, I personally think that there is censorhip on all fronts. Where one chooses to make a stand probably depends upon a lot of things.
I would much rather have people chose their "frontlines" themselves. Even if it might seem less important to you. Especially since this is a game forum. Censorship with regards to games is a lot more likely to come up then censorship of the news.

There was a man who was Orthodox jewish and he felt uncomfortable seeing his wife in an undressed state. when someone couldn't understand his distress, he came back with the idea that though one might think his ideas and beliefs "quaint" they were very important to him and showed that he had the utmost respect for his wife.
I imagine there are many on this forum and elsewhere who would be beside themselves in laughter at such a notion. but the truth is that such beliefs are out there and are very valid. Especially in a world that tends to slide to the "easy" and lowest common denominator.
So you see, there are all sides to life. Just because one only wants to be on a particular side doesn't mean the other side should be seen as lesser. Remember, you have thoughts, needs and desires that might be seen as too prudish, or "sick" or sterile or improper and I'm sure you are very comfortable with where those needs are.
I say let Conan be what it is and let those who want to inhabit the world the way it was meant to be inhabited to be allowed to do so.

I mean cmon to put things in perspective, our government has censored the media about the war in Iraq, and you want to claim you are out there fighting for our rights in an MMO? Lets face it, you arent doing anyone any good fighting this kind of battle and dragging anti-censorship through the mud. Well, in regards to your post, I personally think that there is censorhip on all fronts. Where one chooses to make a stand probably depends upon a lot of things.
I would much rather have people chose their "frontlines" themselves. Even if it might seem less important to you. Especially since this is a game forum. Censorship with regards to games is a lot more likely to come up then censorship of the news.
And regardless, I do think that you can find the "truth" about Iraq in smaller private news sources, perhaps BBC, etc.
