Prolly and old topic here .....Anyone know if the official system requirements for Age of Conan have been released yet? They really dont have anything posted on the website.

They haven't been released, but the developer's are aiming for Oblivion like minimum requirements, however do not expect to run AoC on Maximum if you can run Oblivion on Maximum, it just won't happen. If you can run Oblivion, you can run AoC, however that does not indicate how well you will run it.

i'm thinking (hoping) that AoC maxed will be like crysis on one or maybe 2 notches down from max.
Thank you

Choose AoC from the list.
I very much doubt max will be like Crysis max, and the devs said they are optimizing the game to lower system requirements.
I hav a Nvidia 8500 gt, will my grafic card be able to handle the nipples?
i didn't say max cysis. i know AoC wont be, can't be on par with crysis. i'm just hoping max AoC will be around medium-to-high crysis setting. (i believe theres also very high and ultra high settings in crysis.)
Ive used techniques on levels I have built that produce the quality of graphics you see in Age of Conan to run on a relatively cheap machine, and look pretty good. Not sure if funcom actually did that since they are trying to promote the DX10 technology which usually always means an unoptimized mess when you make it about the technology.
They don't use FPS in AoC. They use SPF(Second per frame).
