I really like the idea of doings Scenario's from lowbie till endgame(and open world PVP). I know their is suppose to be alot of them thoughout the game. Which sounds great. I far as I can tell some of them are tier 1 and 2 only. This seems odd. If a Scenario is hella fun players may want to do it at tier 4. The higher level one's may be awesome but will get old after awhile.
I a not saying the tier 4 ones will be bad or that the Open world rvr won't be fun. I know open world RVR is the focus of the endgame. I am looking forward to Open RVR and public quests quite alot. I was just thinking that the more Scenarios you have at endgame the better. Wow's battlegrounds got old somewhat quickly for me(only 3 of them at the time).
Maybe I am wrong and if somebody can post a link I would be gratefull.

Do you mean Public Quests when you say "scenerios"?
If you do, there will be (the last I read) 3 per chapter, with each race having 23 chapters. That seems like alot of extra content to me...
Beside all of the PQ's there will be regular old quests and instanced PvP and PvE quests.
Am I missing the point of your post, or do you just not think there is alot of content here?

I know nothing much guy but my 'hope' is that scenarios are useful tool to help train players in nice, even battles. I'm not the biggest fan of instances on one hand cause I ideally want MMOs to have massive wars.
But on the other hand, instances (12 vs 12) can be useful for training up newbs how to fight. Golden rule of game development- assume players have no skill, even though all of us think we do.
Meaning, at some level, I think you must design for the bottom feeders (newbies) and sorta guide them along. Get them comfortable with PVP and winning
Cause if its really "open world RvR" then it might not be even battles (I hope). This means sometimes 12 men might have to develop counters to hold a pass or asset temporarily til reinforcements arrive. So for a time it can be uneven and require huge player skill and teamwork
But at very least I guess they are ensuring they get everyone comfortable with PVP
Perhaps it can help grow PVP populations in mmorpgs is my hope. I hope they cover all the basics must of us want like Terriority Control, PVP Objectives, Risk vs Reward on the Faction wide level, etc
I'm guessing scenarios will be upgraded versions of DAOC's battlegrounds and wows scenario's...I'll play around with em..but its open rvr for me.
Scenarios are just lame after awhile.

about scenarios, yes there will be many, actually 30 at release. some of em gonna be in the lowlvl area, and some in the higher tier. As it is right now, noone knows for sure if its possible / how to enter the lower tiers scenarios, how it will work etc. But i could imagine it would be chaotic if you could enter all of em at lvl40, imagine the queues ! I could imagine, that if you really loved at lower tier scenario, then ppl would make alts to fight for their realm. That would also make sure, that the areas would seem more living, and dont forget, that the quests/pvp from all lower tiers adds to your realm points, and therefor it wont be pointless to do som pvp as a lvl21 or so
I meant Lv 40 vs 40. 30 of them would keep them from getting boring . Plus since npc's can fill out teams you don't need a hugh amount of players playing each one.
