New Star Wars MMO to run with new series.

If there is any substance behind the latest rumours, then this sheds significant doubt on BioWare's involvment in any type of MMO Star Wars game. BioWare's MMO may not be related to LucasArts' whatsoever, while the Canadian developer's LucasArts project may not even be an MMO. Few specific details have been released about the first live-action Star Wars TV series since its announcement in 2005. However, it will set between the end of the new trilogy, and the start of the old trilogy featuring characters from the expanded Star Wars universe. This rumoured Star Wars MMO game by LucasArts will supposedly be released on PC and consoles. It was also pointing out that LucasArts has another MMO in development that is not based on the Star Wars universe. |

Useless information. Must have used the world "rumor" about a dozen time. Not one factual source, not even the claim of insider information. I read similar rumors in the threads on these forums.

Hah, this is about as substantial as the last Blog that claimed it knew what LucasArts was up to. Namely, not at all. At least this one doesn't even try to pretend he/she has insider information. A rumor based on rumors. Meh, guess people will believe everything if it suits their ends.

not really, i dont believe much of anything, until i see it actually happen. i AM kind of hoping that bioware's mmo will be either star wars or forgotten realms based, though. either would be nice. anything else really doesnt matter to me, until i see it.
Well we know Lucas Arts ahs ditched the PC for console gaming so why would we care?
Rumor has it that Mark Hamill will be starring in a Star Wars based porno movie with Jenna Jameson to be released in Q3 '09 along with a Massively Multiplayer Real Time Strategy Game, working title: Star Wars, The Phantom Penis.

In about 12 days its beleived that Bioware//LA will announce what MMO they are working on . So what I am saying is its going to take a rumor to dispel this rumor.

Yes, there is a new Clone Wars cartoon series coming out plus a live action TV series.

According to a Jantior who works with a guy who once cleaned up Lucas's ranch , the new tv series will be staring Alf as a wookie.
Uh , Force.net is normally in the loop for rumors and videos , I dont believe they ve had any hints of tv series. They pushed all Lucas games , dolls , and toys pretty hard , but havent said anything about a mmorpg yet.
Its rather sickening how much Lucas pimps out star wars. why not do an indiana jones games?
Joking aside. I hope another KOTOR game is made whether it's a MMO or not. Even a multi-player version of KOTOR would be awesome, like NWN.
I know I'm going to probably get told but I look forward to the star wars console game cant wait to preorder.
