Attack of advertisements started ! Game spot now features full page skin of AOC www.gamespot.com/pc This can mean only one thing....AOC will be released in time!
I hope your right, but if not id rather wait even another year for this game so it will come out the way the developers want it to come out. Not like all these other games being rushed out and being a waist of money.
I seriously wanted to get my money back for buying Vanguard. I was so stoked about that game and It was a POS.
Yeah dont get me wrong or anything, but whats the point of playing online games if your not going to join in on the community and group together, such as raiding. If all you want to do is play a solo game in an online world, why not just play a single player RPG, and dream about one. I play MMO's for the same reason they are called MMO"s. Massive Multiplayer, meaning i want to play with more than just myself, hehe. Seriously, 15 bucks a month, and you dont want to play part of what the game has to offer. In a business world, your wasting your 15 bucks.
Now back on topic, i cant wait to see what this game has to offer. Hopefully that advertisement means no more push backs. And i also want to thank avery and his clan for putting the time into making those sigs with links to info. For a person like me who is lazy when looking up info, those sigs give me my info. Can't wait to see you guys in-game. Be afraid of the Mistawha, very very afraid. . . . . . . . . .

There are other group activities besides raiding. There are also other ways to interact with people besides group activites. Playing alone doesn't necessarily mean you aren't interacting with others.

Cannot believe so many people have faith in Funcom you must not have played AO for the first 1+ years seen how money hungry of a company they are and how bad they treat there customers. This game will be released even with the delays buggy as heck wait and see not to mention it will be slow to fix anything just like AO and when you bring it up funcom will slam the forums down to no posting and nazi all negative posts or even posts asking why things have not been fixed.Complain alot like some of the old swg vets do on here and your account will end up banned and no I am not meaning your forum account funcom has MANY times in the past banned game accounts for negative posts on there forums.
Any long term Ao player can certainly agree with what I said and no your not long term if you popped into Ao 3 years after its release.Wait and see this game will be a buggy piece of junk that Funcom will half ass support.

My 1995 BMW is shit compared to my 2004 model, my latest model has superb safety features and everything, shame they didnt know how to make the same car back in 1995. Oh well, I wont buy BMW again even if they have press and review awards to the contrary, even my friends may suggest I see whats new and cooking, then maybe I can make an informed decision on my own.

The ones in charge of AO now, and AoC, are not the ones in charge at AOs' launch. So your point is moot. Oh, and played AO off and on since beta. Welcome to 2008, stop living in 2001.
Funcom has been advertising now for a quite a while. Has anyone else noticed the plethora of MMORPG.com article and features on it this past month or two? It is the same at other websites. Almost every day there is something about the game, which keeps hits to their portal high.
They have basically been pushing out tons of movies, screenshots, interviews, etc., which amounts to free advertising when it is posted on gaming websites. It keeps the hype and buzz up, and keeps a lot of links going Funcom's and AoC's way.
I would suspect the barrage of media and advertisements to increase greatly in the coming months.

lol you have so much tunnel vision
Just when you think you have all the answers, I change the questions.
Gamespot?
I was really looking forward to Age of Conan but from what I've read it's going to be a small world and end content is 24 man raids. Think i'll pass!
Yea and it involves mature themes, maybe in a few years you could play. I hope it will be released soon.
Guess and hope so
I seriously wanted to get my money back for buying Vanguard. I was so stoked about that game and It was a POS.
I am looking forward to hear Jeff Gerstmann view/report on this matter
24 man raids is the end game content?

And when we got more women on the team, it was like No, no, no. We need puppies and horses in there.

Some cheese with your whine?

Certainly the advertising means they are serious about keeping the release date.
And please stop all this whining about AO folks. Whining is for little kids. A grown up can be more constructive than that.
I wonder if contracts were signed before the last delay announcement
