hey i have baught the digital download, and i just waiting for it to finish downloading. I want to create a ranger, but i just want to know how they are for soloing, because i hate it when i choose a class on a game and then i find out its a b****** to solo with lol.

You can't level up a Ranger in this game. The class that you can play is hunter... that might be what you meant. Anyways, all the classes can easily get to 50 solo if you want. The hunter is a powerful DPS class, so I guess it would be a bit easier than some other classes. If you have played ranged attack classes in other MMOs, you'll probably enjoy Lotro's hunter class.

Any class can solo Ok in LoTRO.
The closest thing to a Ranger is a Hunter. They are actually ungodly solo toons. Insane single target DPS, group run speed buff, teleport abilities, tracking to help you find quest targets, and limited crowd control from traps. They can be a bit frail in melee. At low levels especially don't hesitate to run for your life if you bone a pull. As long a you stay in control of your fights, however, hunters kill mobs very quickly and efficiently.
As far as a true Ranger (i.e., one of the Dunedain of the North) you can only play one as a temporary heroic toon in monster play. There were only something like a hundred of them in the books, so it wouldn't make much sense for everyone and their granny to be playing one.
