Edit: Here's a link to a fairly simple walk-through of the quests involved for what was half-heartedly put forth as LoTRo's questing. The part that was described above (badly) is the instance between Chapter 11 and Chapter 12. lotro.mmodb.com/quests/chapter-1:-unravelling-the-thread-81.php
And then an example of how the EQ2 timeline progresses
Complete quests and gain status without stepping out of your home..
So many avenues...and 3 years in the making...so, if you enjoy a lot of content then Eq2 is the way to go Any MMO that's three years old *should* have a lot of content. In the early days of EQ2, there wasn't nearly the amount of "avenues".
The only problem with EQ2's content now is that it's such a mish mash of different zones with no common ground.
The best bet is hopefully LOTRO will have as much content as EQ2 in that amount of time...guess we have to wait and see....
I don't think fans of LOTRO will have to worry about that. Turbine has proven themselves over the past 10 months that they're quite dedicated to adding lots of free content, and often. Heck.. the clothing option that took SOE 3 years to add to EQ2 is already in LOTRO. Any yes, we know EQ2 had it in three months before LOTRO. LOL
Later
Come on man... give us something to really debate!

Want to group, then follow the heroic quest lines..
Wait, would you rather be a craftsman and follow a Crafting profession instead of adventurer?

Maybe in another 3 years EQ2 will fix the graphic engine enough to perform as well as LOTRO using similar systems.
