Role Playing MMO

Hi im looking for a really good MMO with excellent role play content in it.  Like something where it is against the rules to speak OOC.  Years ago I used to play a text based MMo called dragon realms and that was excellent.  Preferably a free MMO aswell.  I know WoW is good, but I just dont have the $$$ to play.

 

Any suggestions please :)

    I'd like to know about a game where for example you must follow codes of honour or be fully respected just to get better in the game. Is there any game like that? Where politeness among allies and respect against enemies exist? Normally games are full of wannabe kids that are really annoying... please find one!
