Two great games that are simply more enjoyable than most mmorpgs

Valve’s Portal and THQ's Dark Crusade with expansion packs. 
Both highly recommended. Much better than Crisis, Oblivion or any of the mmorpgs I’ve played; Wow, Lotro, Archlord, AO online, Dungon Runners ,Guild Wars,Runescape, DDO, EVE, and Last Chaos. Anyone else think the mmorpgs don’t really stand up to the other computer game genres? Maybe it’s just the fact that I can’t see to grind for days just to show off the really cool sword I got. I’ll still play WAR for awhile when it comes out but I doubt it’ll really break the mmorpg mold much and will probably ultimately just become another wow clone like Lotro.
