1. Age of Conan, this looks pretty good and keeps looking better, here's hoping it's as good as it can be
2. Warhammer Online, definitely has a lot of personality and looks like it should be fun
3. Stargate Worlds, haven't followed this one too much lately, didn't realize it was supposed to be out this year, but my guess is it won't be till next year
Earthrise looked pretty cool when i checked it out awhile back, although i doubt it'll be out this year either
i guess if all of those fail i'll get WOTLK for wow, but i really want something else to play, pretty tired of WOW.
I'm definitely buying TCoS, AoC, WAR, and probably AION. I'll end up playing only one, but I can't help it. When a new MMO comes out, I almost always end up buying it and trying it out for at least a month. My shelves have MMO boxes everywhere. I guess I'm a collector.
I already bought two this year and quit them both. I had a weak moment and was bored waiting on WAR, so I bought Tabula Rasa. I enjoyed levelling up but now quit the game as I just lost interest. I bought POTBS and had fun until level 10 or so and got bored with the very long and slow fights.
As for the rest of this year, I hope WAR will be one of the two games I will play for the next 10 years (hey, a body can hope right?) AOC is not for me. I want Jumpgate Evolution to be my second game. If it works out as well as I think WAR is going to, I might never buy another game again... will be oo busy with those two.
At least three or four. I know I'm buying AoC, and I want to buy Aion as well. Jumpgate evolution is too cool to pass up too. I miss space shooters.
I might get Warhammer if it gets great reviews, but honestly everything about the game is screaming WoW to me, so... meh.
