No one else has played it either its not out yet, and why are you making an EQ2 post in the WoW forum?

Wrong forum... if you want answers to the question, you're not going to get them since no one has seen the game in action nor has anyone even played it.

    Everything is speculation.

Well actually if the NDA is anything like the ones that SOE has put out in the past, beta testers wont be saying anything either.  image

Your best bet is to go to some of the sites that have links and read.

Look at some screenshots and formulate your own opinion.

Reading these boards will help as well.

The beta test has yet to begin.  But when it does i rember reading that the beta testers aren't allowed to talk about the game to other non-beta testers.  Some legal stuff i guess.

Yeah, they don't want info getting out about stuff that might not even be in the final product.  A lot of things change in beta.

I bet they dont want the beta testers telling the whole world how crappy the game is ROFL.... JK.. but seriously having NDA closed betas is a thing of the past... If you have to "hide" the way you change or do things in beta its probabaly a bad thing cuz theyll probabaly do the same exact thing when it goes retail. IE make false promises or do stealth nerfs to chars...(ala SWG)... I will never play a SoE game after playing SWG and seeing as SoE is hyping EQ2 just like SWG  making the game seem "revolutionary" and "new" I have a bad feeling about this game...

Ill give EQ2 one thing though it does have nice graphics and special effects... problem is I doubt anyone will have the video/computer specs good enough to actually ENJOY those graphics or even play the game smoothly. I mean think about it... 2 starter towns??? WTH were they thinking.... can you imagine the lag fest its gonna be? People will quit within the first month cuz of all the lag...Not flaming EQ2 just how I see things right now... I hope EQ2 is a cool game for you guys but my gut tells me otherwise.

Lack of PvP is really turning me off from it right now.

Never really like Everquest 1 but I guess they offered some PvP servers.  If EQ2 opens with PvP servers on retail I would likely subscribe because there would probably be alot of people,  and thats what makes it fun.

If the PVE in Everquest II is amazing, I could care less if PVP is any good or if PVP is even in the gam. There are a few MMORPG's out there where PVP is the end game. And that get's old real fast. If there isn't realy any reason to do quest or go hunt, and your only option is to do PVP at high levels that usually turns me off from the game. If the PVP is great though I usually stick around for a while. Nothing like a little PVP fun every now and then.image
