I'm Back (At least for 13 more Days)

 I Got bored and decided to return to UO after several Years.   I played way back to just before LBR and up to AOS.  and wanted to see if  I could still have fun without the major Hand Holding some MMOrpg's do.

So, I am Now Playing on Atlantic since this is where I played before.     I am looking forward to the 14 days. 

Will I find feast or famine. or will it be pleasure or Pain or maybe a mixture of Both. so any suggestions on what i should strive for?

OKay, Day ONE

 

I dug out my old AOS cd and installed after a stalled start and a bit of wait for it to update I began My foray back into Brittannia.

 

After deciding on a class I went Basic and choose warrior and OBENU LIGHTHART  Entered New Haven .

 

Tracking down the Warrior Starter was easy enough and my journey into the wilds began as I have to Build my Sword skill to 50.  after attackng a few zombies and a accidental healer ( I forgot about the War and  Peace settings) I am on my way luckily i have my old strat guide to AOS(A bit Dated now) but it helps with the little things like  saying Bank and and idea on how to move and things.   Looking forward to DAY TWO

I came back yesterday as well, I play on Europa, decided to make a tamer /bard as its something that I have never really played before.  Luckily I found an advanced char token in my old house.

 Installed KR have to admit its alot smoother then when it first came out, I still decided to go 2d so I can use UOassist.

 The game is still fun, although the population has dwindled, especially the rp community.

DAY TWO

Not much happened did a few more Escort missions. got chased by an elemental.   and killed a few Zombies.    swordmanship is still Low need to kill more zombies.     I am beginning to remember why  I both Loved and Left UO back then.    Hopefully Day THree will be better.

To be honest i dont understand, why poeple so bad opinion about UO. I started few days ago, and i enjoying it alot!

I made mage/tamer. So far i am enjoying it alot! I made a bit gold allready, not enought for my first house yet. But i am looking forward to small workshop for beggining .

If i am bored killing undeads and ettins, i go train taming, if i am bored of bouth, i go explore world.Or look at player houses,shops,inns, auction house( on europe server we got one, every wensday 8:00! sweat   ).

Thats what makes uo so nice game for me. I am not forced to go dungeons with ather poeple and grind gear.

I actually can do something outside fighting, and enjoy that!

Thought i am new player, so for me everything is "NEW" . ( just played a little bit on private shards 4 years ago, i could not afford the real thing).

I think EA needs to do some advertisment or something, for poeple to find out about game, Becouse alot of poeple dont even know ultima online even is out there!

And all veterans should give it anather chance.... who know, maybe they will love it again, like they loved it before....

DAY FIVE

Logged on after a brief update.  So far so good I Kill a few zombies heal do an escort misson or two and Bam I am making the gold.    I still enjoy the drops from monsters and such.  I even saw a Large drop of gold on my run from the elemental the other Day.  no time to stop to see.   Now, all i gotta do is see if I can find a guild to run with.   I just glad there isn't the same old come play with me and walk into an ambush to be PK'd and looted.. I'm sure the HC server probaly has that for the Unwitting powerleveler who pump his Char but didn't play the game. I have the day off on Day SIX So I'll try a Longer Run am maybe I'll run into some better adventures. I am definitely not ready for the long trek to a new city like I use to do just walk until I hit civilization and a city. Killing monster or the Hapless RED that attacked. Also, I really gotta hurry My Young Status  ends very soon and those hostile will attack me So I'll need all the help I can get well that's the update.

NOTE TO SELF I REALLLY GOTTA LOOK UP DEM THERE GUILDS.

My adventures continued as I still complete the escort mission one I only had to walk 30 feet. or go to the bank.   I drank some ale and fought zombies drunk. My first quests to level my skills to fifty is nearly over. I aim to do what did when I played way back in REN  is go for a journey to another city as I am currently in Haven I plan to walk to the next town.  Not sure If I am going to take advantage of my Young status and not get attacked by monsters or risk it all?

My Time Is slowly running out. With Less than 5 days left before I am Charged.   And I think I am going to stay. I already Bought The 9th Edition Box. So it looks Like I came back.    now, I just gotta finish those quest and thsn go out and adventure.   Though Xfire says i am playing something else

i have now been back for 5 days on napa vally server loving it my other toons have nothing on them any more but i can still play them if anyone is on napa server send me a message name is gauge or i will be on terrasaur
