That FlyFF background is absolutely atrocious!  Ahhh my eyes are bleeding!  What a vomitous mess!

    I just want to reply to this quickly and parhaps bring a few things to light on such a subject.


    1. First of all, while you might not find the FlyFF background appealing, it must appeal to someone or chances are the developers wouldn't have made it.


    2. Those assets are given to us from the developers/pr firm for FlyFF. When a skin as such is being made we *have* to use what they give us, so your complaint might be misguided in this case.


    3. And, don't worry they don't last forever. Just remember that ads and skins such as that support this site so it can be free for you. While in a perfect world, our site could exist ad-free, we do have many bills and this is how we handle them.

    In addition to our bills being paid, you might be introduced to a product (in this case a game) that you didn't know about in the meantime.


    Relax.

    Wow.  Even the staff have irate rebuttals only theirs are 10 days late.  Seems like you would have just left this thread buried as I'm sure it was by now.  I guess I really upset someone. 

    Dispite the circumstances surrounding the atrocity the fact remains that it ruined the image of the site.  I'm sure you could have done something better with their art.   Something more subtle would probably  have made them look better too.  Do something that is that isn't so dominating next time and keep design integrity.  Everything else looks great btw.  Since I know someone's listening I'll keep looking in from time to time.

    I see nothing "irate" about Skywiseknights' post. I do see irateness coming from you in both your posts, however. How about you just avoid the front page if it offends you so badly? Or go offer your 1337 artistic skills to the Flyff developers so they know how to make "proper" art which meets with your standards. Or, buy the site and you can put whatever you want on the pages.

    Otherwise, deal with it.
