Ragefire Chasm not in list of dungeons in LFG matchmaking system ???

While others low-level (20+) dungeons are in list (BFD, SFK, WC, etc...)
there's no Ragefire Chasm in that list, so one have to manually join the LFG channel and spam, spam, spam :(

Why ? does anyone else thinks it's not a way it's supposed be ?

WoW puts really tight level limits to instance meeting stones, and unless you aren't appropriate level for the meeting stone you can't enter LFG for that instance either.

Imho it's stupid, those level limits are way too tight and restricting. But most likely you are too high level for RFC. (you can still go to the instance, just can't use LFG system to LFG to there and can't be summoned with the meeting stone)

Of course if you are alliance that would also be an explanation, since alliance players can't get to RFC wich is in the middle of a horde city.

I completely agree, the level restrictions are too rigid because it makes using the LFG tool practically useless.  Why not let me look for whatever instance I want, then let the group decide if the makeup of the group is what they want or not?  You can always remove people from a group if they are too high or too low.  At the very least put in an option to only look for level appropriate players.  That way you could start out looking for level appropriate players, but then if you don't find what you are looking for, you could open it up to a broader search and allow others in.  There have been lots of times I've wanted to use the LFG tool to find a PUG for an instance that was below me because I was trying to complete some quests there but couldn't because of the level restrictions.

By the way, I'm not suggesting changing the way the meeting stones work, only the LFG tool.  I think the meeting stones are designed that way so that people don't use them as a free waypoint type of system.  If they didn't have level restrictions on them you could easily summon your group using the meeting stones of instances that you never intended to enter.  But actually now that they are making questing from 1-60 so easy anyway, this might not be a bad idea either.  I think a few of the "travel from point A to point B only to be sent back to point A" quests could use a little shortening as well and allowing anyone to use the meeting stones to do that might be a good thing.

One other reason for limiting levels on LFG though which i do agree with is that it would just become a marketing tool for people selling and buying boosts which is annoying enough locally and across the trade channel, let alone the LFG channel being used for it too.

It must be Thursday, i never could get the hang of Thursdays.

Jason_webb: I do agree that some level limitations are good, there is no reason a lvl 70 player should LFG to instance like Ragefire Chasm. I just think that those level requirements are way too restricting, they prevent people from going to instances from where they'd still get exp and better loot.

It should be the player's choise to go to an instance a bit below his level if he wants, not some limit restriction placed on that instance preventing him from doing that.

ok, I understood about level requirements, and ofc it's stupid...

If you're Orc or Troll or even Tauren - you get to RFC just in time for it to still be available thru LFG search.

Blood Elves (who done all quests in Ghostlands) will never see Ragefire Chasm in that list - and it's really annoying, cos' on of the 4 components for Blood Ranseur is deep inside of that instance...

I agree with level requirements for Meeting Stones,
just (imho) putting level requirements on LFG matchmakin system is way too stupid :(

WoW has non-linear multiple path leveled quests path. and not seeing local dungeon in the list only because you got to that region too late - yukk, it sucks... :(
