At this point I would consider all these release dates as rough estimates. Nothing to hold your breath on and especially nothing to schedule your life around.
Let me put it this way; Lets say that it never comes out. WAR never gets released. None of the games expected for 2008 launch. Why are you boring yourself hoping that some sort of virtual saviour will come and release you?
Best advice I could give is to stop whatever is that is boring you and check the market, even for short term entertainment. Who knows, you might find something you like out there in case AoC was not what you were expecting it to be after all.
