How Do You Start?

I haven't played more than like a week total in UO over the years. What is the best way for someone really new to start and don't end up out of the loop ? What advice can you give (including which server to pick)? I am looking to maximize my sandbox experience in UO.

    Well m8, i only started the game.

    And i think , for best sandbox experience you should pick up busyest server! Those servers have strongest economy, and moust poeple( ofc ).

    For europe, best server is : europe .
