Does anyone else think the price is just too much for a game, I don't really see why i would spend $90 on a game with a few extra goodies and still have to pay monthly when i could just get the same game for $50 and save some cash. Anyone agree?

90 bucks for a collectors edition is a bit higher than normal (70-80 is what I'm used to), but then again, inflation happens, so who knows.
Now, is it worth it? Unless you're a die hard Conan fanantic, probably not. The mount might be nice, but apparently, you can get them in game anyways, just have to pay for them in game.
The fake leather map and stuff? Meh... I have a bunch of those maps from various games and they're all collecting dust.
Art books I am interested in, but I don't think I could see myself clear to pay 40 bucks for it alone.
Yeah 90$ is too much for a new game, especially one they can't get released on time. I will wait and see how the responses roll in from the general public and reviews before i invest that kind of money.
So does the N. American devs for Conan get interviews on MMORPG or is it a NL thing?
Well, as you yourself pointed out, you don#t have to spend the money if you don't want to. As someone above me posted, the CE is probably just for real "fanatics" so to speak. There's no real "game" reason why you would have to buy that, so all you get for the extra price is a bit of accessories which you only need if you really are into the World, Lore and all.
If you need to ask this question though, I think yes, the price is too high and you should stick with the normal version.
Anyone who is crazy enough for the world will just pay the price. ^_^

Easy answer...nope...I can afford it and I wanted it. There is a choice, buy the regular version.
Look around, it can be had for less.
Collectors editions are never worth it imo and I don't see the incentive to buy them.
