I was reading Q&A.
I finded out that in pvp we can biuld our own siege towns, or capture towers.
And in pve giulds can biuld Towns. Biuld barracks, town halls, blacksmith and ather structures(in town).
But again, no mentioning of players owning houses.....
It is kind of stupid, we can biuld our town, but we cant live in it.....
Or there is player housing after all? and i just did not finded it yet?

In an interview one of the dev's said that player housing would be in an expansion.
It was said in the recently posted GDC Interview. Housing will not be in at release, but is considered for an Expansion. But Gaute himself said that housing would not be in the release version.

Final Fantasy 7
Great!
But i hope it will be like lotro way, not like wow way. When we needed to wait 2 years for expansion....
player housing is always a frivulous enjoyment. I personally enjoyed the EQ2 housing, however i think it would be cool to be able to build houses around (or within the walls) of the guild city.
Having the features 'building an own city' and 'player-housing' be implemented at different times makes me worry that the houses will either not be within the player-cities (what I would personally dislike to see) or that there will just be one house representing the player-houses leading to an instanced house of the person who enters (what I would really dislike too).
Those cities would really have to be huge to have enough space for up to a few hundred houses. Hard to imagine they will increase the city limits by moving the walls further out that far once when an expansion will be made. Hopefully they will find a way to add player-housing properly. For me as a RP that's one of the important features.
yeah, so did Blizzard before the game was released. Don't get your hopes up until it happens.

Last year during LotRO beta, we testers had a discussion as to whether we wanted to see Player Housing in instanced neighborhoods, or just anywhere in the environment. At the time, I supported putting all housing in instanced neighborhoods.
I no longer feel the same; I play both LotRO and SWG and I would rather see Player housing in AoC as it is in SWG, even with the sprawl. I crave more of a sandbox experience for AoC's housing than what Turbine has provided in LotRO. I also crave something that SWG doesn't allow..houses that can be attacked, defended, then rebuilt, in keeping with the world of Conan; harsh, bitter, even brutal. Let me build a house whereever I wish to, and give me a reason to defend it by making it worth it in terms of ammenities/options, and I would fight to save with my life. Let me build a hovel, a hut, a cabin, a stone house, even a tower if I wish....at the price that it could be attacked and taken from me if I fail to defend it.
Give me something worthwhile to build AND defend. Player Housing should be more than just "frivalous enjoyment" and it can be if it's done right. Player Housing can add new opportunities for PvP and GuildvsGuild, and if that requires that it waits for a full expansion to AoC, then it will be worth the wait.
well i don't know if you would all like to finish building your house and get it the way you want it just to have it burn to the ground when your guild city gets invaded and torched ?? if you want a house to call your own go play The sims there barbarian will leave you alone here if i have the chance to toss a torch on your house oh i will !!! so befor you all ask to have player houses in your guild citys think about the head ache of moving back in after a battle and yes i know there will be pve only server or what ever but for you how have a pair and play pvp think about what i just said
Give me someplace I can call my own, that I can build (or have built) and that I must be prepared to defend. Make it good enough to make it worth it to defend it, and rebuild it if necessary, and I will be hooked.
well there are several of other options you havent thought off.
1: Player house vs player room, one room wont take up as much space as whole house, so maby they will create a kinda guild barracks with several of rooms.
2. This is kinda build on of option 1. The Vertical Plane, a tall guild tower or steep guild dungeon, filled with player rooms. This wont take much area on the 2d horizontal area, but you can still have plenty of space because of the vertical plane.
3. Player housing besing insanely expensive that only a few can afford it, and among them only a fraction choose to put their money in one. so if only 10 people in a guild buys a house, it shouldent be a problem to fit them in a keep (from the vids keeps are pretty large).
Personally i vote for option 2 ;-)
we wont really know until the first few patches. those will indicate where the devs are putting their efforts into (my money is on PvP and cities).
MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
i agree fully with GARDAVIL. you and i are on same page.
However i don't know if your refering to building a hut/stone house in the middle of the land (ie. down a path or somewhere tucked away in the woods) if so that, and/or in a guild city would be amazing.
Some other person said they wouldn't want it destoryed, "go play sims", something like that. But mostly the thought of it being destroyed and destorying others is best part. And if one really cared, they could construct their house in the PVE guild city and then it probably wouldn't be destoryed.
Anyway finding 10 ppl and making some houses in the wilderness country somewhere, added some stable area, little player-market, and a farm to get some resourses and sell, sounds insainly fun to me. However i doubt we will see that from funcom; but thats ok. I
If houses not instanced, they mean something, and are implemented into the game within six months, i'll be plenty pleased.
I will make a prediction right here for player housing in AoC, if/when it is available.
I predict that player housing will come in two forms.
1. Players will be able to build houses outside of their PvE Guild City keep. It will be a circle of influence that the keep has with ample room to fit possibly hundreds of small houses.
2. There will be a housing instance area like LOTRO.
Having both of these options allows both big and small guilds to have their housing areas.
Since it seems that Funcom likes stepping on the smaller guilds, option 1 may be the only possibility.
"There is as yet insufficient data for a meaningful answer."
Player housing would be icing on the cake. I love immersion, and an escape from my stressful world. SWG did it pretty good, but far from perfect.
I for one dont really care much about player housing.. The only game Iv ever played where I actually found it great and helpfull, was in SwG, due to the fact that you could have your own vendors there, and put up items for sale that you had crafted.. If they're gonna make vendors available, sure it would be awesome, but I doubt it, they'll prolly just use the standard "Public Auction House"
