Hello,
I am looking for a crafting/harvesting/housing/stradegy type of game like Lands of Hope. Forlornonline.com, I love this game, but I would like to know if there are any that have more in the way of housing, and such. Browser based is ok, but I would like to have Mining, farming, fishing, cooking, crafing, all of that sort of thing. I played UO forever...I just want something different...and NO runescape...that is awful
Thank you all so much for your help!

You can try Perfect World and find out about crafting. It does not have housing yet but will be implemented soon as the original version has it.
It has got an infinite resource gathering and crafting tree like Armours , Jwellery , Potions , Hierograms , Soulstones and Weapons.
For your information crafters make the most In – Game currency in Perfect World by crafting and selling it at Auction House.

Wurm Online might be for you.
Basic accounts are free, but if you want to get your skills over 20 there is a 5euro per month fee.
I've made a post about it here if you want some more info on it before/if you try it out.
I haven't ever played lands of hope so I don't know exactly how the gameplay is in it. However, there are several games out there that offer some of the things you are looking for
Lord of the rings online, Everquest II, Vanguard, Final Fantasy Online, Star Wars Galaxies all offer some form of housing/decorating.
I know that LoTRO, Everquest II and Final Fantasy all have a resource collecting (go out and mine) crafting system. SWG requires harvesters that you leave for long periods of time to collect stuff for you. I can't speak for Vanguard's crafting having never played it.
For the most part in these games you will have to do some adventuring, but it looks like you have to do that in the Lands of Hope game too, so maybe that won't hinder you. The crafting in Final Fantasy requires crystals that you collect while fighting. All three are relatively deep. LoTRO and EQII more so than FF is I remember correctly.
EQII is deeper in the fact that in order to get better items, you have to actively hit buttons/abilities while crafting. It's not just a hit the button once type of thing.
Good luck with whatever you choose ^^ If you join LoTRO, start on the Meneldor server and send me a tell if you have any questions
