already saw that video, and yes it is an amazing video.

For future reference, post the URL you are linking. It makes people more comfortable with clicking the link. Even though you can see the URL down in the bottom of the screen when you hover over the link.

    5.  If it weren't so late in the game, I'd check it out for sure.

Also I wish you could land and get out of your ship and do some missions that way as well but hey - that's not what this game is about.

Sorry that's just the way the guy who runs eve files has his site set up. I really can't complain since he provides free hosting for any eve player to use for eve related content.

It was a pretty good video overall, tho i do feel that the introduction [the text] was a bit too long for my taste.

newbies are still joining and becoming valuable members of corps. it takes about three weeks to get a skilled interceptor pilot.

sure, i can fly loads of other ships too, but if im in an interceptor your skills would be the same as mine. coming late to the party certainly doesnt stop you from playing.

There is no late in the game. You can train up for an electronic attack frigate (Kitsune) in not ime and you will be an asset to every fleet.

Walking in stations is in development btw so that`s comming as well. Plans were for late 2008 but you never know. Could get 2009. ;)

Why is almost 2/3rd of this huge file TEXT displayed? Quite boring. Then a huge, good looking battle which you likely see 2 times a year or so. I remain sceptic in EVE.

Actually such battles happen almost every few days. Of course such battles inevitably bring lag so whether such battles are a good thing or not is still matter of debate in some circles of EvE.

Because this isn't some gank video or some random fight. It's the documented history of recent events which just happens to be one of the biggest things to happen in Eve in terms of alliances. This is the player driven story and history that people love about Eve.

Unless you're on 56k, you shouldn't complain about the text...the effects on and around the text are delicious. :D

Bingo, watching MC, AAA, IAC, Goons, and RA wipe the floor with BoB and company is most enjoyable since it was BoB that invaded my old home. BoB has been a pain in the ass for a lot of players for over 4 years and publicly stated their goal was to hold all 0.0 systems for them selves. Basically the fall of BoB will be like the fall of Rome, it will be followed by many more wars and an era hardship. This will however lead to the rise of many new and stable alliances.

No just less random "we're gonna kill you just because" wars. Wars will be fought with more reason like "we've out grown our space and your's looks nice, gimme".
