what was the most fun f2p mmorpg you ever played?

mines has got to be maple story cuz of my rl friends back then and conquer online

    The most fun I've ever had in a free MMO would probably be when I first started playing Maple Story though... But that's not saying much.

    Truth to be told there hasn't been many f2p games that you just have "fun" playing.

     

    Space Cowboy Online (goes under the name Flysis now I think) was fun and out of the box for the first 15 levels but then it quickly derailed. Though I didn't play much past that point so I don't know how hefty the grind really is.

     

    Maple Story, Runescape, Rappelz, Silkroad, Trickster, DOMO, Shaiya, Last Chaos, FlyFF... Never appealed to me.

     

    Though on another note I'm currently trying out the "pre-open beta" of Mabinogi and it's shaping up to be quite a game. Alot of attention to detail that makes it stand out and I actually lost myself into the game for several hours which is very much unlike me when it comes to mmorpgs overall. I know nothing about the end-game nor the pvp content but from what I've seen so far this seems to be *the* f2p to play.

    Well I've played Lineage 2, matrix online, pirates of the burning sea, city of heroes, Star Wars Galaxies, WOW, EVE, Dark Age of Camelot, and Everquest and they're all pay and I found them all BORING. 

    Free ones I've played are Cabal, Perfect World, Archlord, RF online, Shadowbane, Dark and Light, ACE online (use to be Space Cowboy), Sword of the New World, Mentin 2, Shaiya, Talisman online, Rapplez, FLyFF, Last Chaos, Silkroad, World of Kung Fu, 9dragons, 2 moons ZU online and more.

    I had more fun with Ace Online (which I play now), Shaiya (I play sometimes), Cabal (I play sometimes), Perfect world (waiting for the US version to play more), and Archlord (play sometimes), than the pay games I've played. And I felt better I was wasting my time with a free game that I know I'd get bored with in time, than a pay game.  So who are you to say whats fun for everyone and whats not.  Just don't play free games and keep quiet.
