I'm coming back!!!!

I was a beta tester for this game and played it for several months after release until my work situation prevented me from playing for a while.  Well, after a 9 month hiatus, I AM COMING BACK TONIGHT!!!  I got a new comp and am almost done downloading the patch!  I am so excited, anything new I should check out?

Anything new? I don't even know where to start.

In America I have bad teeth. If I lived in England my teeth would be perfect.

    Welcome back!

There has been a LOT of stuff added since beta.  I think you'll be pleasantly surprised :)

They've added to the story, done a lot of work on the classes/quests, added factions and housing...there's jsut a ton of stuff to do in game now.  You might want to check out the notes on the different books (9-12 i believe were released after beta, might be 8-12 though) on the website and see what's new :)

Of course, you may have already seen some of the stuff that's been released since you played a little after beta.  I play on Meneldor (Heatheryn, Aiwe, Eeli, Sekia, Khalion).  Feel free to send me a tell if you have any questions at all about the game.

I'm considering the same . I left the game at level 32 and worried there won't be any one around at my level to quest with.

What server are you on?  There's always a lot of people playing, but it can be a little trying to get groups in this game every now and then due to how easy it is to solo in this game.

If you do come back, try going to Evendim.  There's a lot of quests there for your level, and it shouldn't be too hard to at least get a pick-up group for the quests over there.  I've never had any trouble getting help anyway.

I would also like to add that one of my kinmates usually ends up getting together a group before I can even get over to the zone to help him!  May just be a time of day thing.

I would'nt worry about that, its so easy to find groups at any level these days, also alot of people are doing quests with a real mixture of levels.

I was in a group the othe night and it was a  28 ,35 ,39 ,40 ,42 ,50 plus it was heaps of fun and the community is so nice.

I have a lvl 50 captain and I help people out with quests most nights as do alot of other people.

This site does a good job of summarizing the new content added since release; as well as gives a theory of what and when might be coming in the future.

    www.visionsofthering.com/expac_timeline.shtml

Just click on the month tab arrow to parse through the content that's been added since release.  The person who created it goes back and updates his "guesses" after the books are released to reflect what was actually added and when.  So, it's actually a really good tracker to look at the changes since release.

I also came back from a break and am loving the game.  I have been mainly playing PvM as a creep on Landroval and love it!
