Just bought - patch download stuck at 0%

Alright I was looking forward to playing this game, but the patch download has been stuck at 0% for 20 mins. Is this one of these wierd games where you cannot download patches without altering your ports and such? (like the flaw WoW used to have before they finally fixed their patcher)
I just want to play the game. So how do I download the patch, or is there a site I can just download the patch off of? I used to use fileplanet to download the WoW patches, but i didn't see the tabula rasa patches on their site.

Ok, after almost a half hour of the patcher just sitting at 0%, it started going on its own. Everything appears to be fine now. Hope this doesn't happen with every patch.
