The game i seek!
I'm like most here who have played nearly every MMO since their inception. Doubting I've missed many i am looking for something that meets the criteria based below.
1. PVP based - this means that PVP determines level advancement not pointless mob grinding/questing. This means PVE'rs/raiders won't be interested. This means open world non instanced as well. I hate instanced PVP.
2. Player crafted items are the best money can buy. Making buying gear from crafters superior to any potential drop items. Economy will be dictate by player made markets.
3. PVP with a reason- I'm sick of pointless no cause and effect PVP. I like to fight for territory as well as control territory friend or foe. I like long drawn out strategic battles.
4. Group dependency- This foster socialization and a teamwork atmosphere.
I don't want easy solo mode, I don't need to level to max in 10 hours. I want character levels to actually mean something instead of just be zip through time sinks. I'm not into space games my main genre is medieval time frames. Right now i don't think any games out meet those items listed but i figured this was LFGAME so maybe i missed one. :P

Nope, the game you want doesn't exist. You're looking for Darkfall, but who knows when/if that will ever arrive.

MarleVVLL from his list of what he is looking for all signs are pointing to a sandbox style game, so we might as well point him in the direction of Wurm...
But like somoene already said, Darkfall is the game you are looking for but who really knows when its coming out, till then Ive finnaly gave Wurm a shot and actually realized its the best sandbox out there at this time.
When i say best im not putting this on the scale of Eve online as i consider that a total different concept sandbox compaired to wurm.
So if you like space try Eve, if you like more earthly medeval period try Wurm... Best part about it is you can actually give Wurm a try for absolutely free so why not? If you do give it a try and have any questions feel free to pm me.

Thats funny, because my suggestion was Wurm as well.

The player crafted items in the games are better than the items you can loot or buy!
There is a territory PvPsystem, which means you can fight for different territorys in a place called ettenmors.
