looking for a new game

I'm looking to try a new game. I'm really unsure about shelling $50.00 for a game with no trial. I have played Ultima Online, SWG (before the revamp), FFXI, and WOW. I like most of these games, but I need something new. I lean more to the rpg aspect rather then the pvp. I also like to solo play at times. Please advise on this game or other suggestion.

I think there is a trial now but to answer your preferences - RPG aspect is very weak as the game is build around ship to ship combat and is touted as PvP heavy. You can solo by grinding missions (rather generic, for example if the fight iso n the beach - it is always the same beach). Solo PvP is rare and not advisable as battles are instanced and dominated by groups of 6 players.
Get the trial account if you can.
If you liked old swg you will like this, but it is in the early stages and still is being worked on to get it right try the trial but I think you will like it.
Yes, this is the game for us pre-cu swg players. The economy is deep and the combat is team oriented, this is definitly the place for the old time swg players. Im loving it
