Okay i'll try to be short.. x.x'
I play at Tales Of Pirates Online and that runs fine, never had problems.
I tried to play Flyff, i started several months ago and there was no problem. Then I quitted for lack of time and i started again after Christmas. I was able to play for around 5 minutes, then the graphic started to show corruption or the screen/pc just froze.
I was told to update the ATI drivers and i did it. Now the game just freeze. Only the game window, i can still use the computer (this for the most of the times, sometimes the whole pc freeze)..
I also installed Last Chaos and it's about the same thing, game screen freezes after 10 minutes there.
I checked with an other RPG (not mmo), the name is Oblivion...same thing, the game freezes..
I asked on the games forums for help but i can't still solve the problem. I link you guys those threads cos i've put more informations there and also because you can see the attempts i've already tried!
Flyff: flyff-forum.gpotato.com/viewtopic.php
Last Chaos: forums.aeriagames.com/viewtopic.php
Please have the patience to give a look to the whole threads, i really hope someone can help me cos i have no clue about what to do T_T'' i'm absolutely not expert of these things and without any help i'm just stuck here ;__; *wanna play*
Thankyou for your kindness and attention..!! >_<

hm... sounds like you need to troubleshoot your computer to see where is your problem....
what are your specs? what is your gou temp
How much time you leave that computer with out even turning it on? and by the look of the problem... sounds like the Radeon is having some hardware issues.... I mean.. is starting to malfuntion...
Since you changed your videocard driver and it made it worse, I would say there is a problem with your card or even the driver. Might have to delete the card from the device manager and restart the PC, then direct it to the new driver.
Hope this helps
Well... I had a Radeon 9700 some years ago.. and in the card last days... it start giving me problems like artifacts.. in one place of the screen... always the same place.. in all games.. and trying to install new drivers tell me there was no radeon card...
At the time of the failure.. the card was a bit of 2 years old... and used everyday for 2 years... a lot per day...
Thank you everyone for your replys!!
for Pelu: i don't know how to 'trubleshoot' my pc.. o_ò' anyway i use it every day for many hours at day and it's hardly been off for more than 2 days. The whole pc is quite old, i think 4 years.. this summer i got an overheating problem (that was for the ventilation of the motherboard)..the pc reached very high temperatures but it didn't seem to get damaged. At my usual pc shop they said it wasn't damaged at all but i'm starting to think that the video card (which is on the motherboard if i am right) got damaged... still i find it strange that i can play ToP without any problem..! I've never had graphic corruptions in 4 years, too. That was the only case... An other thing (maybe useless but maybe usefull... ) 1 month ago i was asked to make the video card check (i had several geometrical figures moving on the screen and had to say if i could see them correctly..) and there were no problems. Now i updated the video card driver and i checked again and the speed of the moving figures increased too much.. they almost seem to wink..! but i'm sure they're just moving too fast... anyway the games didn't work before and don't work now so i don't know if this is important...!
for Housam: >>what are your specs? what is your gou temp -> well i don't know what are you talking about.. .__. i told you guys i'm not expert at all of computers...!
cvette: well i wouldn't define it 'worse' .. before i updated the driver i had graphic corruption errors, freezing of the game window, crashing of the pc and also blue screens..! Now it seems i just have blackening screens and rarely the computer crashes...!
oh, an other thing: the screen isn't just turning black. It's just like if it gets resetted. The effect i can see is really similar to the screen activation when the pc is rebooted. The whole screen turns black, also it makes the 'reset noise', then it wink once or twice, then the desktop appears again but the game window is just black. (i can still see the borders of the window and i can hear the noises of the game.. and even walk and make actions..obviously i notice all this only by the noises!)
Specs would be the speed of the processor (P4 3ghz as an example) how much ram you have (512, 1gig) Video card model (ATI Radeon 9800, ATI X800, etc) What Operating system are you using? (Windows 98/ME, Windows XP, Windows Vista?)
Also, if you installed new drivers without removing the older ones first (usually can be done via Add/Remove Programs in control panel) they can be conflicting.
If the vid card has been in the PC for a few year and has a fan on it, check the fan to make sure its dust free and working. If the PC is crashing when trying to run a game of anytype, it could be the vid card over heating. GPU temp would be the temperature of the video card while its running.
Have you scanned for viri? If you dont have a virus scanner, you can grab the free AVG scanner from AVG.com.

2.) Those who watch things happen
3.) And those who wonder "What the %#*& just happened?!"
okay ^^' well these are my pc infos:
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 512MB RAM
Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254
Card name: Sapphire RADEON X700 PRO
Manufacturer: ATI Technologies Inc.
Chip type: ATI Radeon Graphics Processor (0x5E4B)
i removed the old drivers when i installed the newest ones..! i still have to try to open my case and see if there is dust in the fan! Anyway i don't have my pc crashing with every game..this is the strange thing!
also..i think i have the minimum required ram, i'll be updating it soon. I don't exclude it's just the ram's fault..!
