power supply performance

hey all,

i have a stupid question. i know a bad or insufficient power supply can cause crashes, freezes and hardware malfunctions but my question can a power supply bottleneck performance or no? i dont know a lot about computers and any help appreciated thanks

I don't think the correct term is bottle-neck.  The power supply can limit performance, without the power your computer components won't have enough juice to work at optimal levels or at all.  Also if you daisy chain too many power connectors this can also happen.
