I have a disk with the free trail on it and I'll try anything once. Oh and I you hate the game, I already know so you don't have to spam this topic with hate. So before I enter this world I have a few questions. First off what's all this I keep reading about underage girls attempting to marry the first single male avatar that passes them, I mean what's the point? How is the community setup? And where should I go first?

First, the thing about underage girls trying to marry the first guy they see is a) exaggerated and b) completely dependent on where you go. For example, if you go to a lot in the Romance category you'll probably find some desperate girls looking for someone to marry.
The community is set up in a few different ways, and you can kind of choose which one you want to go by. First, there's cities, which are the servers. My favorite one is Jolly Pines, if you're wondering. These are also sort of "communities" in that they're filled with people. If you want the city to be your community, which is a nice thing to do, you tend to meet a lot more people (which can be good and bad).
There's also neighborhoods which, at the moment anyways, are nothing more than just a group of houses near each other. They vary in size, the biggest ones will show up on your map when you first enter a city. Each neighborhood is different..some are themed, others are just groups of friends, and some are just...random. Some neighborhoods elect governments to run them, but most just sort of "exist" without one.
There's also mafias (totally biased opinion here) but with those, there are people you can't be friends with, places you can't go, just because of your affiliation with the mafia. If you ask me, that sucks. But there are some families that aren't mafias, although as far as "community" goes it's not much more than calling someone "mom" or "dad" instead of a name.
The first places anyone trying out the game should go are lots in the Welcome category (I'm pretty sure the categories are all explained during the installation but I can explain them for you if you'd like). These lots are generally set up to teach new players what's what and stuff.
