hi i just started the game . and had not much time to explore yet due to real life , i am wondering if u can outdoor exploration and do outdoor quests or grinding at lvl 1 ?

The first outdoor Wilderness Area you'll encounter is the Cerulean Hills, located outside the Harbor, which is for level 1-4 characters. Higher than level 4 gets no xp and no discoveries for the whole group.
Don't forget Kobold Island!
Well... I did forget but while it's "outdoors" it isn't one of the Wilderness areas to go in and explore, etc.
Although grinding mobs certainly applies to that one, jeez...

I wish I could! Waste of time! Yes, there is a chest, but 37xp...why bother - especially now when you can repeat the Goodblade quests.
The Cerulean hills are great on the other hand!

Oh gawd I hate Kobold island. Not just because of the crappy experience, but my fist time in there I could NOT find the last two remaining kobolds to finish.
I'm thinking is this really worth it? That island needs a total redo. Damn shame the devils didn't destroy that island while taking the tent with them.

Stay away from Captain Howdy, erh...I mean...stay away from Kobold Island!
You can repeat Celurian Hills for slayer kills although it's not as rewarding of an experiance you would think. The outdoor areas get better then higher level your character is.
