I don't know, I learn about life the more I live it=) Funny points though.
I learned the opposite of some people regarding online friends. REAL friends aren't pixels. Real friends aren't people you talk with over your computer. They're not just a voice. Real friends will do almost anything for you. I don't care how much I've played a videogame or talked with someone over Vent. People are NEVER themselves on the internet.
It must be a generatiion thing. I can't trust someone I can't look in the eye. If you call someone you've never met face to face a real friend, then you're idea of a friend is actually just some person you know. You only have a few REAL friends in your life. 3 or 4. Everyone else is just an associate.
I can keep eating and drinking and never have to go to the bathroom Gold, weapons and armor drops off everything...even that deer you just killed could have a rare item Chuck Norris is actually god himself in human form Your class, if its overpowered, WILL get nerfed I can cyber on the internet (or MMORPGs) and never have to worry about any number of diseases
Okay, you've managed to scare me should we ever meet in real life.
Anything you type is logged, quoted, and irrevocably in the public domain the instant it hits the screen - unless it is your typing, then it is a outrageous, uncivilized, and unprincipled violation of your privacy.
Okay I know you were joking with some of those but mine is : * I learned how to save money for something I REALLY want. Honestly, it taught me how $$$ adds up, even small amounts (farming), to get what I really want. Deb
Funny, I'm far more responsible with my money in real life. In WoW I blew my money the moment I got it. I could never get myself to save up plus I hated farming.
Hi, Great list, would be cool to see this and a few of the other lists combined and made into a comic or something, if your interested drop me an email, we can get few local writers and artists together and share around the work, get a bit of the community art book/pdf project going.
on a side note I thought these needed amendment,
The world is big, but the more you travel it, the easier it becomes.

the only other one I thought needed amendment wasn't one of yours,
That there are a hell of a lot more assholes out there than originally predicted and I should remember that at anytime, I might just be one of them!-{ Not aimed at the Op of this quote.}
It's cool to hear about becoming more financially responsible. It's a BIG problem in this country and recklessness got us a huge forclosure rate nationwide.
I'm a penny-pincer in real life, so the game massaged that practice for me. I did learn how to be more efficient with my time and multi-task/multi-quest which was something I used to avoid doing despite the benefits.

Hehe, I can relate to these and translate to the meanings for myself:
1.) Saying "I'm already married" has hedged any approach from those 'in the market'
2.) I've putmoney into things without research and reading reviews. Lesson learned.
3.) Exercise often else sickness & heart disease will find me.
4.) Hedge the ego and do the job.
5.) Never buy the latest and greatest unless you don't mind it dropping 1/4 the price within a year.
I heard this quote from my first raiding guildmaster. He most likely didn't make it up but I think it holds true.
"Every moment your not playing the game, your losing the game." -Snarik
I was 18 at the time and he was 17 but he had been a MMORPG player since UO and knew his shit. He was a drug addict from 14-16 and WoW was his current addiction.
