Help me decide

Hello. Its possible that I will buy this game and enjoy it with all of you that do play it. BUT I have a very big problem.

I can't decide what mmo to buy!!!!! There are atleast 3 mmos that I am very interested in.

Lord of the Rings Online- of course or else I wouldnt be here.

Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventure- I would love for a name change to Hyborian Age instead of Conan Age, it reminds me of the Arnold movie and that in turn reminds me of crappy Uwe Boll movies.

Pirates of the Burning Sea- Im just a fan of pirates and sail age stuff.

So a little about my tastes.

Graphics- Im a guy that isnt attracted to games by them. When people talk about game graphics I mentaly say: "Whats the big deal? You dont play the graphics anyway and if the game sucks not even its fancy graphics will save it" I hope there are others in this world that think like I do.

Gameplay- This is the king. If a game doesnt have an attractive gameplay I just quit.

Sound- Dont care at all.

Fee- Dammit I do care but what the hell people will just say "Its cheap ($15) and you get something in return" or "I prefer to pay $15 to play mmos than dont pay" But necesarily paying them monthly doesnt mean you get an enjoyable experience. Example: What happened to SW Online? Didnt you pay $15 for it? Not even F2P mmos have such a horrific transformation.

Anyway I will pay $15 but I got a question about LotRO payment method. Is there a way to pay yearly? Are there EQ1/2 style pre-paid cards?

Well Im interested in LotRO because after seeing the movies and reading the books I turned into a fan. I had been sort of passively watching the progress of this game when it was called Middle Earth Online and it had another publisher or developer or whatever. I tried the Beta for about 3 hours(crappy PC to blame for not playing it 48 to 72 hours) but I did enjoy it.

Why am I interested in Age of Conan? I seriously dont know. Right now I had to check info about it in Wikipedia and after reading it I would say the Combat and the player cities and siege ala Shadowbane.

Why am I interested in PotBS? Its about pirates, sail ships, marines, based in Age of discovery. And many of the things it has are so hot!!!!

Well thats it. I guess if it came to it I would end up playing and paying for all 3 while still playing other free ones like Guild Wars(+exps), Guild Wars 2 when it launches, Aion when it launches and I try it and like it, and any other fre mmorpg that comes and catch my atention and that happens very fast.

Would this game be enjoyable to a person of my nature? Im a group man but I solo too. I take very serious my characters and my games, I hate when I see players with "ass names" and not role playing names, I think I could role play but in my mind it would be embarrasing, I also like guilds but when they are serious. Just think of me as someone who would have played D&D if I had been born when that fashion exploded in nerds, and closet nerds(people who are nerds but dont want others to notice, this is like when they say "ohh John got out of the closet?" you know, he has not-straight tendencies, but this is about nerds).

I hope I didnt offend anyone, take that last sentence as a sort of joke but I still mean it, you closet nerds.

PoTBS is not worth the money, that's my opinion... but seriously, just take a look at the boards regarding that game.... It's absolutely terrible. I pine for a great game set in the Age of Sail, but looks like that won't happen anytime soon.

Give LoTRO a shot, you'll probably like it.

I will try out LotRO in that trial as soon as my gaming pc is is given a revival potion.

    Quick non related question:

Do any of you believe that one day Turbines LotRO will reach a state where it covers all middle earth? By  making more expansions and "Books" the game will reach the Fourth Age and perhaps create new campaing or a new story for the player to follow?

This site is by no means official, but it shows a possible progression up to and then past where the books end.

Edit: Forgot to mention.  Turbine already has licensing to take LoTRo through 2014.   They did this deal not that long ago, so obviously something they presented to the owners of the LoTR license were very impressed.
