Help me find the (MMO)rpg that suits me :P
Hey there,
mmorpg history:
Tibia (GREAT game, awesome community)
WoW (Great game till TBC came, one big zerg nowadays)
Guild wars (I dont get the instance only stuff, i want open pvp)
Tried some free mmorpgs like WYDglobal, Dungeon Runners, stuff like that.
The best mmo i ever played definately was Tibia, just the whole 'gang' feeling, making a guild, leveling together, powerabusing a bit in town, pick up little brawls that end up in huge guildwars. Never got that high in the game, but it was just awesome. A level 50 could easily kill a level 90 if he was skilled, and the level 90 would lose 2-3 levels, and that takes like 3-4 days to recover. Stuff like that, is fun.
Anyone knows a tibia-like mmo? They raped the game, made it more 'noob'friendly, that ruined the whole setting.

I would suggest Eve or Runescape... Hehe joking... Um PVP... It all depends. If you wait for warhammer, it'll be a sweet game. It's not a WoW clone so no worries. Other than that, DAoC I heard was good. Also I am from North America and I love the whole "D&D" kind of games. Paladins, Priests, Warriors, Hunters, ETC, but I actually started liking this one game. It's called Perfect World. It is decent. It is set in the Dark Ages, it's not all Kung FU, it's more D&D meets Diablo meets a Samarui. I would give this game a shot. Good PvP, territory control, quests are easy, jumping a lot, WASD movement, glowing armor and swords, community based, decent graphics, customzation is INTENSE, decent game. You can buy items with real money like all asian games on the market, but you can also go to dungeons and get the same, even better items there instead. I would try it I guess. Alright, Perfect World, will give it a try. Right now im also downloading some game called 'Air Rival' (Before: Space Cowboy) which went into OB yesterday.

I think I'll stick to Air Rivals for now, me and a rl friend started it yesterday, its quite fun! Bit laggy in town tho (Laptop) but the missions are awesome, and its a sort of FPS meets MMORPG, its EVE but first person (or third, depends on camera angle) its awesome!
