Never heard about this game before, but tried it because I found it on this site.
I play it now for ~two weeks and: WOW!
It definitely should get a much higher rating - so I registered just to vote for it!
Btw.: Join the French side! :-)

Glad you finally found out about us! We're the Red-headed step child of the MMOG world. Though we are quickly turning into the Blonde beauty everyone wanted instead. Heh heh...

See my "red-headed step child" quote. Due to the well documented, disasterous launch WWIIOL had, most publications won't give us another chance. Even though the current game in no way resembles what the game was when it launched. I know this as fact because I've been playing the entire time. One of these days these shortsighted publications will finally see the light. It's only a matter of time.

Its sad that not many people/Sim players know about this game . I think this is mosty becuase it very very hard to find and buy in a shop. The only way you can get this game its to buy it online or download it from WW2online mainpage. This don't help to much at all
When I played Soldner or BF1942 & Mods etc. etc., I would talk about WW2online and nobody would know what the h3ll I was talking about .
Like you said there no enth coverage for this game, which is a sad thing, I would say its one of the best Sim out there .
Yeah, CRS needs a U.S. publisher. Unfortunately no one wants it. Hopefully they can gear up for the North Africa expansion, which should result in a new box. Unfortunately we're probably at least a year away from that still.
In the meantime, we as players just need to continue to spread the word. If we just get Sim players to give it a shot, we stand a very good chance of keeping them in the game. Once you get a taste of what this game is, it's hard to let it go.

Actually I heard something like January or February.
With an expansion will come new reviews. This should help WWIIOL quite a bit. With the prejudice the reviewers have against the game I don't expect anything like an 85% or 90% rating but I do expect that it will get much much better reviews than the first review.
Imsneaky I have to agree with you, if the game did get rereviewed I do not think it would get the score it deserves. Most reviewers would not give it a fair shake after the launch it had. Every time I do read something about the game, there is always a mention of the disastrous launch.
That was 3 yrs ago for gods sake. They need to give the launch of the game a rest and review it for what it is now. An awesome game!!
But thats just my opinion.

Well then you'll be happy to know the Tiger is on the development list. It'll probably make it into the game by the Fall sometime.
