Is the range of view still so low?!

I stopped playing 4 month ago (because the game bored me).
Is there still this stupid fog that that doesn't allow you to see things that are more than ~300m away?

I switched to WWIIOnline btw.! THIS game is really mind-blowing (and you have an range of view of ~4km)!

    Well that depends on how far you have your viewing distance set in options image.  Unless of course there's a storm, then you'll have your viewing distance shot.
