Many people who post on these forums generally have a pretty positive outlook on MMOs in general, and I think you'll be able to help me with my hunt for the MMO that suits me the best.
My gaming history so far:
For the last 3 going on 4 years I've been playing WoW addictively, I leveled 5 characters 1-60 back in Vanilla, and then all of them 60-70 when BC was released. After experiences every single heroic, raid and BG in the entire game I felt empty, like there was nothing that could provide me with entertainment besides jumping mindlessly in shat or org. I even gave away my original account with 2 of my 70s to a friend of mine to get a completely new take on the game by leveling a new character. Which ended up working for a month or two after getting my 5th character to 70 and a full well-fare epic PvP set from grinding battlegrounds.
I think it's time for me personally to move on to a new game with a fresh experience.
I've been looking into AoC and WAR alot recently and I'm really looking forward to both, but, as an MMORPG player I need to do something to pre-occupy my time until then. Do any of you have any suggestions at all?
I'm attempting to look at DAoC, FFXI, Eve, LOTRO, and UO (although I've heard bad things about the modern UO I would still like to give it a shot). Can anyone give me some advice as to which game would best suit and ex-wower who really just wants a game that isn't so life consuming.
P.S. if you have a game that isn't necessarily one of the ones I mentioned feel free to contribute.
BTW thank you all for your help in advance.

You'd probably be best off in LoTRO if you value atmosphere, setting, and exploration.
If you are more of an achiever, you might prefer EQ2.
If you want more of a change, try City of Heroes (but not City of Villains).
WOW!
You must chew trough *ANYTHING* game dev's try to put on your path. Maybe you sould look into PvP games, because only PvP can give the infinite replayability you may need..
You might want to give Eve a shot. It's easy to start, but difficult to master. If nothing else you will chew up time just exploring. Otherwise, LOTRO is fun if you run with the right groups and I enjoyed DDO quite a bit till I leveled up 3 or 4 toons.
