Question about pre-order CE!
Not sure if this question was previously asked but...
How does the pre-entrance thing work for the people who pre-ordered?
It says the files will be available on the 14th and all pre-orderers will be able to log-in on the 17th. GameStop says the release date is the 20th (which it is) but how do I get it before then since I pre-ordered it?

Yeah, I've the gamestop pre-order and I'm not sure about the 3day before launch open beta either.
I hope it works but it may only be a bonus from a select retailer, like the rhino vs. mammoth.
Sorry, I'm in the same boat but I guess after waiting since 2006 I can handle the May 20th opening day just fine.

Your box will only ship with the rest of the others, meaning it will ship on the 20th and arrive at your place, depending where you live. You'll have to verify your account with your box-code evntually if I understood it correctly, but everything you play in those 3 days early will be transferred to your account created with your box.

But how does FC know who to send the codes to?
When I went to GameStop, they only asked me for my phone number and name, nothing else.
I'm not sure how the "In-Store" Pre-Orders will be handled. I only know how the On-Line Pre-Orders are handled. But if I were you, I would ask your local GameStop. They should know after all.

i work at my local gamestop and have been asking about the freebie codes for a while now.
and while we got the art books in today (wich are really cool by the way) none of the three stores have and of the rino/mammoth codes but id venture to guess we'll get them soon and when we do you can just go pick one up if you have it pre-ordered and if we get them at any of my stores in my city in NC ill post on here for you guys

not 100% sure if they partnered with us on that deal i think another company does that if you reserve with them check the websites that they offer on the ageofconan.com website they say their special offers

They (Funcom) partnered with Gamestop on it. It's on your (Gamestop) website in the game listing. I spoke with the manager at my GS and he advised, as is also listed on the website, that in-store pre-orders will get rave cards with the codes. He told me they usually get no notice of when the rave cards for games get delivered, only the game itself. I told him starting May 1st I was calling his store every day and he said that was a wise thing to do. Once they get the rave cards, bring you recipt and go pick your card up and on the 14th you can d/l client and begin play on the 17th as mentioned above.
This also applies to the regular version of the game as well.

awesome, wasn't sure about that.My GS just told me otherwise.
He asked me to come back up to the store to give them my e-mail address and that I would probably just get the code through the e-mail. I'm still going with what you're telling me though. Thanks a ton.
