I dont want any new or currently reigning MMOs, I just want this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvzqmWCSy-s, OVER and OVER and OVER again. So all you shmmoeople that 'play' wow, ddo and other mindless games, quit immediatly and log in as fodder for my pwnage!
Oops! Nevermind, I really meant that I cant wait to 'pvp" the npc Drekk to death 300 more times for my new 'pvp' boots so that i can 'pvp' some more against npcs in the 'pvp' zone for my new 'pvp' gauntlets. /emote *Steps back into mLINEndlessness* My apologies.
p.s. NO, i dont want you all to go back and play a 7 year old game, but I DO want EVERY developer to model their new games after Mythic's DAoC so I can actually have fun playing mmos again! This includes EA-Mythic.

They are all expecting WAR to be the new DAOC. I think they are up to be a bit disappointed though.
I stopped reading when you said DDO was a mindless game...You clearly haven't played it for more than 5 minutes if that...Mentioning it in the same sentence as WoW is just idiotic. This is your opening post after 3.5 years and this is what you've been workin on? Nice job dude.
Basically you want a game with PvP, thats all.
WoW, and DDO do not have the best PvP systems and are mainly PVE games.
Searching Fantasy Games for PvP gameplay gives you this list.
IM sure when WAR and AoC are released, they will be prominant on this list as well.

Sequential Method
This method ranks all MMORPGs based on the first desired feature, chosing the best and then ranking the remaining upon the second criteria, then the third, etc.
Cumulative Method
This method ranks all MMORPGs based on the cumulative total of all desired features. Each feature you selected is given equal weight.
Torrential: DAOC (Pendragon)

Excellent video. I agree 100%. I don't want to go back and play DAoC, but hey, Devs? Put this in EVERY MMO from now on, ok?
I think the rumors coming out of the WAR beta point to it being good, so I'm looking forward to it. Obviously it may not be as fully developed as a 7 year old game, but the same devs that did DAoC are doing WAR so it should be good.
