What would be a decent computer to run this game?

My computer right now can't even run Crysis. Any info on some better upgrades so I can run this game properly?

    My guess...

    Minimum

    Xp/Vista

    3.0ghz CPU (single core)

DX9 compatible graphics card, 256 mb

    3+ Gigs of HD room

    512mb Ram

    etc etc

The game isn't using much in the way of new technology, so a lot of the budget priced hardware would work, if you like to upgrade yourself.

Some people think it will be close to this:

Minimum System Requirements for Warhammer Online

    Windows 2000/XP

2.4Ghz Intel Processor or 2400+ or higher model AMD processor

1GB RAM (Almost went 512 MB here, but it won’t work)

100% DirectX 9.0 compatible computer. 100% DirectX compatible keyboard or input device. Vertex and Pixel shader 2.0 compatible hardware with 128MB of texture memory.

    100% DirectX compatible sound card

    56k+ Internet Connection

    16X Speed DVD-ROM

    20Gigabytes Hard Drive Space

Tell me what you're running, and I'll see if you need to upgrade much to run WAR. :-)

Personally, I built my system, then overclocked it... so I run Crysis just fine. >.>

Many "gamers" are noobs at the computer, nothing big but its true.  To look up your processor and exact amount of RAM you need to go in "My Computer" and then click "View system information" at the top left of the window.  The amount of HD space on your computer should be a given, simply click on your main HD and look at the information that appears on the left of the window.  To look up your GPU just simply right click on the desktop > properties > settings and its listed there in the drop-down box.  Sound card will be more difficult, go into your Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Audio, its listed in the drop down box.  That should be all the info you need.. the power supply wattage can be found in the manual you received with your computer/part, if you don't have it then you will need to open up your case and read what it says.

For future reference, a direct X diagnostic would be better.

To do this, go start > run > dxdiag

Hit enter and it'll sort everything out itself. If any popups come up and they dont seem harmful just hit okay, mainly its just asking if its okay to check stuff blah blah blah.

But anyway, once the results are in you can navigate around the first 3 or 4 tabs to work out where and what everything is. Even the youngest kid with the most annoying screechy voice could work this one out.

if you've seen any of the high res images then you wouldn't be saying this abou the system requirements.  Since you obviously have no interest in the game your opinion of possible requirements is worthless.

If you can play current non DX 10 games your computer should be fine.   Most definitly you should have 2 gigs of ram thats just hwo games are today.  A pentium 4 2.4 ghz at the minimum I suspect and a series 6 or higher nvidia card.
