Hi im here to say that my account has just been banned without any notice, becasue i bought gold. I think that guild wars has made even a bigger deal then wow over people and gold buying about 5000 accounts per week are getting banned just because they bought a little or alot of gold. I think in about 6 to 12 months people are going to leave guild wars due to this problem and seek other mmo games. Or some wil stay because of the free gameplay that most mmo's dont support.
Thanks for reading my post, Please list some of your opinions or ideas on this topic.

I dont think that buying/selling gold should be allowed, however getting banned for doing it isn't reasonable. They may just delete your characters and/or ban you for a period of time (1-3months).
Let me get this straight. Its common knowledge if you buy gold in MMO's you will get banned. Specifically in WoW and GW.
You chose to buy gold knowing this.
You got banned due to it.
Now your complaining...
Bro its quite simple. You broke the rules, and you got nailed. Obey the rules and you wont have issues. Gold farmers destroy the economy in MMO's, buying gold encourages it.
Ban gold farmer and gold buyers.
Buying gold ruins the economy and playing experience for those who've farmed to get their. I consider it very good that ANet shows that buying gold isn't tolerated. I don't think very many will start leaving because ANet is banning accounts that's doing something which is illegal and overall ruins the game, they would rather feel more happy to play since it proves that ANet cares about the game.
hahaha... I run my own successful first year company thank you and know quite a few of the Dev's from ANet and NCSoft
But the point is, Real Money Trading was added to the EULA that YOU agreed to to play the game and you had to agree to it and accept it to play... The added part is as such:
Thanks for the insult. I'm strongly against buying gold, and yet I can't even afford to buy a decent armor for my characters! How can this paradox be? The fact is that I, and probably some others who you just harassed, don't play the game constantly and yet we are against buying gold; how come? Probably because the money we acquire is worth much less because of people like you; people who buy gold thus making the prices rise. Gold buying just ruins it for the casual players, those who can't keep up with the rising prices.
