How can you be new to "MMORPG" and yet you've not only played four MMO's, but have have had a paying membership with. Therefore meaning you put at least 2-4months time into each of the four games listed above for a total of 8-16monhts of total playtime.
Any game can be downloaded via the internet. You don't list what you want in a game at all, other than being able too communicate with other players. Great, every MMO in existence allows this.
You need to categorize what you expect too see in an MMO. You should also list why you left the previous games, especially why you left WoW.
From the lack of information provided. I would suggest playing Guild Wars because you can get the whole collection for $100 and download EVERYTHING through the guild wars client itself. You just need the cdkeys which can be bought online. Get the collection, play it for 3months and then go out and buy Age of Conan. From there, play this game until Warhammer: Age of Reckoning comes out and then play that.
I suggest doing this because you appear to be indecisive and don't want to be tied down to just one game. But also because AoC, GW and WAR are three amazing games that I think you should try out. The cool thing about Guild wars is that it's F2P, so it's a good idea to try it out. Allows you to play this while playing a fee based game like Age of Conan. That way you don't have to spend $30/mo on subscription fees, but will be able to enjoy 2 games at one time.
Cheers!
Playing: WoW,
Played: Aion, AoC, Eve, EQ, EQ2, LOTRO, Runescape, Guild Wars, DAoC, Planetside, SWG, WAR, Darkfall
Wanting to try: DCU Online
Waiting For: Star Wars The Old Republic, Guild Wars 2.
meh, there are some good MMO's comingout relitevely soon, such as AoC, and WAR. so, make sure u look into that!
Age of Conan seems fun, Warhammer will be out 10/7/08, and Lord of the Rings Online is pretty cool too!
But I already have the best crafted items in the game. I have like exquisite items and etched jewelry. The items you get from rift are wee bit better than some of the crafted items which is nice too know.
They need to release the expansion pack, "Mines of Moria" much sooner than their estimated time of release. I can't wait until the fall, I'll be hooked on Age of Conan and preparing for WAR lol.

Well, I can't really recommend any MMOs to you because I've noticed you've played games like Runescape and MapleStory which aren't all that graphically powerful. (WoW has graphics, but the requirements are not high)
If you post some specs, and maybe what you are looking for in an MMO, I can make a recommendation.
Hi,
I've played runescape, maplestory and wow aswell(didn't play second life) and I had a premium stuff/member account in those games aswell. I was looking for a new MMORPG aswell. I got a couple of suggestions for you.
The first one is Mabinogi. A great game that doesn't only involves combat like maplestory but it has other skills like making campfires, magic, ranging. The game is currently in open beta so you will still find some bugs in the game but I think that's pretty normal for a game in OB. In game the community is really friendly, and you can always find someone if you want to just talk. The game has one downside: only American people can play the game. But if your not american don't worry you just have to download hotspot shield.
You can also give Ultima online. A really great game. UO is actually the godfather of all modern MMORPGs and runescape took alot from that game. The game is pretty good and to be an old game the community is still pretty large.
