sapropelsapropel Member Posts: 17

hi there,

im just wondering what games are there that have a WoW stealth type of class or ability and lost of pvp?
just name them by your order of preference, so i can check them out.
the reason im asking is because i loved the rogue class from WoW, especially its stealth ability.

thanks in advance =)

The one game I can think of that has stealth abilities is Dark Age of Camelot.  There's lots of PvP and you can start as soon as you want since there are training areas based on level range from 1 all the way to 49, with no limit to how many players can be there.  There's even (or used to be?) a PvP server.  There are a total of 7 or so different classes with stealth abilities and they are pretty unique.  This game has been around for about 6 years but has had a graphics revamp and looks beautiful for it's grand old age.  It was the best in it's day and seems to be coming back to it's own again.

    Good luck! :)

    Hi,

Fury is a great F2P game, with P2P options that is mainly(or pure) PVP. I'm not sure about the ability of stealth but I would be surprised if that feature wasn't represented in that game. I know the game has a huge download so if you would like to download it take your time.

I have to agree, that DAOC is the best currently released PvP game with stealth. Although I consider WoW a PVE game that just happens to have PvP...That game also has stealth and PvP. AoC is a soon to be released game that will also have stealth. Not sure of any others.

PvP is a pretty big part of Star Wars Galaxies.  It also has a stealth profession that would likely be to your likeing, appropriatly called Spy.  If you're interested, there's a free trial available at www.tryswg.com
