well, what are you looking for in a machine, and what are you looking to spend?

You may want to take a look at newegg.com   ....good deals, and reliable people. used them for years myself, and many others I know use them as well. I build my own of cours,e but they have some nice pre-built deals there.

you can build your own computer for much cheaper than any POS you can get at dell...

I got all my parts at a computer convention on sale :D

alienware makes some pretty good computers so I've heard and i love their cases

I dont there cases are way too heavy, and if you ever put more power in the machine additional cooling sucks to add.

the best place ive seen to pick up a good prebuilt gaming machine is www.newegg.com

of course i built and it is so much cheaper.

If you are looking at buying a PC already built, then I would highly recommend to you www.ibuypower.com

Ibuypower uses good stuff in their computers and are significantly less expensive then alienware computers.

Another website to check out is www.cyberpower.com

Both Ibuypower.com and CyberPower.com will get you a PC that is about ten times the quality of what you'll buy at Dell or Compaq or HP.. typically anyhow.

It looks from your OP that you are asking about which SPECIFIC computer to buy. Well, that depends greatly. What is your budget first of all? What do you intend to do with your computer mostly? (ie cruising the internet/email, or playing big graphics games, or photo editing etc)
Give us an idea of your price range you are willing to spend, your desires of what you want to do with your new PC, and things like if you need speakers, a monitor, and a printer.. and if you want a flat screen LCD monitor - and I'll be happy to give you a couple of good options in a good PC for you to buy.
